FCT lift check valves function using a springless or spring-loaded disc that lifts vertically off the seat when forward pressure is present. When flow stops or reverses, the disc falls back into the seat, blocking reverse flow instantly. This design is ideal for systems with clean, non-viscous media, where low-pressure loss and tight shut-off are required.
They are commonly installed in horizontal pipelines (with vertical disc lift) or vertical lines with upward flow.
