FCT parallel slide gate valves use two parallel discs that slide against the body seats during opening and closing. Unlike wedge gate valves, they avoid binding under thermal expansion and provide positive shut-off in steam, superheated water, and high-temperature gas services.
The design ensures uniform seat loading, low operational torque, and long sealing life, especially in systems exposed to frequent thermal cycling.
