FCT lubricated plug valves operate using a cylindrical or tapered plug that rotates inside the valve body. A special sealing compound (grease or polymer) is injected under pressure into grooves around the plug, filling the gap and creating a leak-tight, corrosion-resistant seal.
These valves are well-suited for abrasive, corrosive, or viscous fluids, and particularly in applications where valves remain closed for extended periods, as the lubricant protects both internal surfaces and sealing performance.
